Hi,
I have read a number of posts regarding Best Practice of the SLD Landscape Design, but some have conflicting views.
Is there a SAP documentation regarding the SLD landscape?
Currently we have a Non-Prod SLD and a Prod SLD. These SLD exist as separate dual stack instances. We have PI which uses the SLD 24/7. However we need to perform some maintenance on the Prod SLD system
Would it be better to have a local SLD on the PI system which is a replication from the Main SLD?
Should we have the Main SLD on the PI system, but I seem to remember that SAP did not recommend using the PI SLD as the main SLD?
I am struggling to find SLD design documentation
Regards
David
Hi David,
In addition to the links above, you need to ensure that PI can access an SLD all the time, which is why it is usual to point it to itself. Replicating information from the primary SLD is pretty standard.

Hi David,
Not sure if you have read this wiki but if not then please read this, it will help you in designing/configuring SLD:
