Task Management in Solman 7.1 SPS10

Hi experts,

Is anyone using task management in Solman 7.1? I have found it difficult to find more information regarding this topic especially with the documentation which isn't as detailed as i am used to from SAP. Does anyone have more documentation than provided in OSS?

According to my knowledge the guided procedures will be planned with date and time for processing in IT task plannnig and these planned Gp's will be shown in the task inbox for processing. Also the processor will get the notification mail once the start time is reached in solman 7.1 SP 12 onwards..

For me I am encountering a problem in which these tasks which are planned are not showing in my task inbox. Am using Solman 7.1 SP10 so that the notification email also not came.

Can anyone let me know why these tasks are not showing in my task inbox.All the prerequisites are done.

what do you means by "task management" ?

is it new in SP10 ?

Hi,

no it's not new in SPS 10, it's a feature since Solman 7.0. It's located in the technical administration and is used for non automated task assignment.

Tasks can be created from various Solution Manager applications : Central System Administration, Issue Management and Work Mode / Downtime Management for the most famous of them.

You will definitely find some additional informations in the AppOps Wiki (Technical Admin°)
