Logo in NWBC

Hi,

There are many discussion about this topic but none of them helpful...

I have installed SAP NWBC, Version 4.0 final Release PL 6.

I referred this page to display a logo/image,

imported image in to MIME repository and made an entry in the Table NWBC_CFG for BRANDING_IMAGE, the value refers to '/sap/....'

but, I don't see the logo/image.

what I am missing?

Hello Naddy,

For Desktop Client 4.0 you need a UI addon for theming/branding.

Do you know which Role I have to assign to my User in order to have SAP NWBC for Desktop 4.0 as shown in the post?

This is quite interesting.

Can you please help me out with changing the logo itself in HTML version of NWBC???

I tried adding parameters in NWBC_CFG also altered the code for NWBC_FILE_REPOSITORY_SRC

but unable to change it

Hello Supriya,

The logo istelf cannot be changed in NWBC for HTML, not even with NWBC_CFG - it can add a custom logo to the left menu panel.

The modification of the standard code itself is not recommended.

Is there any limitation like resolution or color depth?

because some images uploaded into MIME repository, being displayed in Logo section of NWBC section.

Hi Naddy,

I think the altering MIME repository Logo section in NWBC wont help for HTML version.

The logo for HTML version is locked totally by SAP..Like Melinda said not recommended.

no special admin rights. Please make sure that you have also updated the NWBC_CFG table for image path.

i was talking about the logo in NWBC(HTML) on left top. that im unable to change.

You are probably talking about the image that is part of the SAP Tradeshow theme. Try using SAP_CORBU, it won't have a logo. You could also use UI Theme Designer to create a custom theme based on the SAP Tradeshow theme and remove/change the logo.
