How to configure Punch out Catalogs from SRM MDM Catalog (with ERP back end)

Hi,

We are running the SRM MDM Catalog 7.02, with ERP as back end system.

We are investigating how we could make use of Punch Out Catalogs with this solution.

I understand that OCI4 would be used for mapping values back to the Catalog and back end system.

But where is the most logical place to give the user an option to punch out?

Would it be a URL in the Catalog Search UI?

Or would it be in the back end, ie in ME51N transaction?

Any input and documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

You can configure OCI catalogs ( in your case SRM MDM) in ECC and users can punchout from them in ME51N and ME21N.

If you are using SRM shopping cart, you can configure SRM MDM in SRM for use in SRM shopping cart too.

I understand you correctly when I say that users would punch out from ECC and not from the Catalog search UI?

Do you know if there is any documentation on how punch out from ECC is set up?

From your knowledge, can users punch out from work order, IW31?

Also it is possible to use catalog in IW31 since R/3 4.7 .
