ATP  best done in  ECC and GATP  best done only in GATP, if there is sudden requirement coming across globally and if it needs to be addressed in short notice ,which is the rite tool ATP  or GATP

Hi Rahul,

It would depend what all you want the tool to do, if you are planning in APO system and using GATP as well, then there is no point going back to ECC ATP for any kind of requirement.

Also APO GATP presents you with more flexibility in terms of options it has.

If you are not currently using GATP, then setting the system in short duration and mapping your required scenarios might be tricky at times, in such situation you can start with ECC ATP and migrate to APO GATP gradually.

Key point is how complex is your business requirement, and how much time you have, also how comfortable is the person who is designing the system with tool, there are so many factors into it.

In short, it would be wise to go for APO GATP, but if your requirement is fulfilled by ECC ATP and you have very less time, then ECC ATP is the option.
