Solution manager 7.1 solman_setup test management

Hello,  I am in solman 7.1 SP08 in solman_setup  under the FURTHER CONFIGURATION ' tab

'Test Management '

Under TOOLS > Standard configuration # quick setup steps

there is a link for

'set test plan and package geration system change option '

The link will take you to the SE03 , but  the documentation next to the link gives me an error:

"No document available for I_DOC_ID:SOLMAN_TEST_REPOSITORY and I_DOC_CLASS:HY"

Does anyone know what needs to be done for this step?

Hi,

goto se03, and check the "set system change option" link under administration section, Chenk and set for Modifiable in all the Solman components including global settings and try.

Thanks for info .Most are set to modifiable in software conponent

The following are set to Restricted modify:

Cross-Application Component          SAP_ABA

SAP Basis Component                       SAP_BASIS

In Namesapce ,the following are set to  Not Modifiable :

NAME                                                      Prefix

Application Innovation Gateway         /AIGW/

CTS Plugin                                           /CTSPLUG/

/GWCORE/                                           /GWCORE/

/IWBEP/                                                 /IWBEP/

/IWCOR/                                                 /IWCOR/

/IWFND/                                                 /IWFND/

IW_GIL                                                   /IWGIL/

Do all of these have to be set to modifiable in oreder Test management to be configured? Do I change them back after the config is set up up?

Hi Kenneth,

Like Jansi already said you need to make those settings in se03

incase you are doing the configuration in solman dev box then it might be already having those setting enabled for you.
