I am wondering how are most companies measuring shorts and cuts to customers and in addition the case fill rate. The company I am now consulting with will reject the original line and recreate with the cut quantity. So if original line is 50 cases they will reject with a reason code "Short Fill" and recreate with 25 cases. This seems to be incorrect way to measure as now you have two lines but company says if they partial deliver the quantity stays open. What are most companies doing in SAP for this?
