Hi experts,

is there a possibility, to execute a check in technical monitoring manually immediatly?

Because I have a lot of checks which are just executed once a day ore per hour.

And sometimes it would be good, if I can see the result faster than wainting till the next day.

I know a similar functionality in nagios.

Thx

Hi Christian,

As far as I know there is no possibility available to trigger the data collection manually.

If the collection interval does not match to your needs, you can

modify the data collection period of the given metrics and save the

changes in a custom template.

Also check out note 1807962.

Kind regards,

Roland

Hi Roland,

thx for the workaround, but this is not what I want.

I would like to have the following possibility.

If a checks sends a red amp I would like to have the possibility to check immediatly if the done change has solved the problem.

Kind regards

Hi Jansi,

do you know if there is a possiblity in future SPs ( i am on SP 8).

- execute a check manually

- quit an alert till the next check

( I mean, if I quit an alert which is execute e.g. all 30 minutes, I get immediatly again an email when the calculation engine comes again (so all minutes).)

- notification when alert recovery

- notification by postponing (to inform colleagues, that already somebody is working on it)
