Got an error while publish a business layer from Local Project to Repository

Dear All,

Got an error while publish a business layer from Local Project to Repository .This is an OLTP connection from ECC to IDT of BO.

The Data base for ECC is Sybase.

Please let me know the answer .

You need to publish the connection from local project to repository .

then take you data foundation and edit the connection. now repoint the DF to the shortcut for the respository-secured connection from step 1.

save and republish.

Thanks for your reply. I created the copy of new  connection but still i am facing the issue.

Just give the navigation step by step that will help me a lot.

You should create the connection .CNX in the repository first then create a short cut which will be with a extension of .cns on the connection which is already available in the repository and then create your data foundation and business layer on this connection short cut (.cns) .. If you follow this you should not face any issue with publishing to repository. Suggest you to go through the official tutorial below to learn more on the process...
