Not able to delete systems in Remote Systems table - SAP MDM 7.1 SP09

Hi Sap MDM folks

I need to delete some Systems declared in Remote Systems table of SAP MDM 7.1 SP09.

It is showing me the option to delete, but not allowing to me to delete and popups with a message The table could not be modified.

Please suggest.

Hi Shifali,

This is a known issue and documented in the Note 1836864.

It is fixed in 7.1 SP11.

This means I cannot delete the unused Systems defined as Remote Systems in this MDM 7.1 SP09 version.

Please suggest if any work around...

HI All,

Please unload the repository and delete the ports if any for the remote systems you need to delete and after this delete the wrong remote system.

No Ports are connected to the remote system, but still not able to delete it.

Hi Shifali,

as far as I know there is no workaround unfortunately. Hoewever you are still able to edit them. So if the issue is only that you made a mistake while creating it, you can still change them.
