Error while creating BPL Template for Projects(PS)

Dear All,

I am trying to create a project template for Master Data: Projects(PS) using BPL scenario.

But after adding the object to the template the status of the template is shown in RED.

When I clicked on 'Check Status' it gives the following errors:

  • Table field SKA1-MANDT does not exist
  • Table field SKA1-KTOPL does not exist
  • Table field RPSCO-OBJNR does not exist
  • Table field RPSCO-MANDT does not exist
  • Table field QMAT-WERKS does not exist
  • Table field QMAT-MATNR does not exist
  • Table field QMAT-MANDT does not exist
  • Table field QBEWH-SOBKZ does not exist

There are many other tables/columns shown in error.

Also there is another category of error:

  • Table fields KSSK-OBJEK and INOB-CUOBJ are of incompatible type.
  • Table fields AUSP-OBJEK and INOB-CUOBJ are of incompatible type.

Kindly suggest how to rectify the above error.

Thanks,

Pravat.

Hi Pravat,

Such errors come when the RFC destination assigned to a BPL object does not have ERP installed.

By default, all the standard BPL objects are assigned RFC destination NONE. So, if your control system is SOLMAN or any other system without ERP component, such errors are raised.

To solve this, you need to assign an RFC destination to a possible sender system (or any other system having ERP component) to the affected BPL object (Projects(PS)) in the BPL modeler. Use the button "Assign RFC destination" in BPL modeler to do this.

Once done, create a project template again. The problem should be solved.

Dear Rupam,

I am facing the error even after assigning the RFC destination.

Pls suggest.

Dear Rupam,

Pls ignore the previous communication.

There was some issue with the RFC assignment.

Now after doing the RFC assignment once again the problem got resolved.

Thanks,

Pravat.
