WBS attached to Network in cn22 is not getting attached to Activities.

Hi,

Creation of network, activity and milestion was earlier done through cn21 but due to some business requirement now we are creating a milestone through our portal which creates a network in backend and milestone created in Portal get attached to it.

Once project is released, PS consultant attached WBS element via CN22 in Network, which is not getting attached to activities created. But for rest blank activities columns WBS is getting updated.

So our team has to go and manually attached the WBS element to each activities created in Portal.

Please help.

Hii Durga,

In CN22, give the WBS element's reference number to their respected activities....

Dear Durga,

As you said in the question that network will be created in the backend once you create a milestone in portal.  So at this time there is no assignment between wbs and network which is created.  you are manually creating assignment in cn22 for those activities  which are created in portal.  This is standard SAP functionality.

Test the following- in the assignment tab ensure that you have given wbs and PD and save the network and reopen it again (at this point don't assign wbs element in activity overview).  For that network I am sure for activities which are created in portal there wont be any assignment and it will be blank.  So you need to manually enter the wbs element for these activities.  If activities are more then go for an simple enhancement where in the input you give network and assignment wbs when you save / run, system has to update the wbs elements in activity overview.  Check with Abaper he will help you in this.  STD tables which you can use are AUFK.PRPS, PROJ....

Reward if it fulfills ur requirement.
