Hi

u have to do some configurations on R/3 side and XI side

R/3 side

BD54 - define two logical systems one for r/3 and XI

sm59 - define rfc destination of type 3, which points to XI server.

we21 - define port which points XI server

we20 - maintain partner profiles for receiver XI system

XI side

sm59 - define rfc which points to R/ 3 system.

IDX1 - define port which points to R/3 system.

IDX2 - import IDOC meta data into XI server.

Sent/Receive IDOC:

you need to do the following:

In XI

SM59 - R3 connection pointing to R3

IDX1 - define the port with the above dest.

In R3

SM59 - R3 connection pointing to XI

WE21 - define the port with the above dest.

WE20 - Partner profile type outbound/Inbound
