No Admin task and launch excel on BPC 10 NW web client on google chrome

Hi folks,

     I am able to login BPC Web client but could not see Launch EPM Excel Add-in, Administration links on the page using Chrome. I could not login using IE at all, with the page freezing at 'initializing'.

At chrome, i could find this error message "cannot find com_sap_tc_ui_ria_fcp* plgin". I could login in excel EPM client though.

I'm running BPC 10.0 NW on Windows 7 64-bit, IE 11(latest), Flash player 11, .NET 4 platform, Excel 2010 64-bit.

Hi,

I don't think that BPC 10 version supports Internet explorer 11 version.

Note: 1823786 states that BPC 10 version will supports IE 10 in a future release and you are currently on IE 11. Try launching BPC front-end on IE 9 instead.

    You are right, chrome and firefox do not support the BPC functionality fully and when I downgraded to IE9, it works quite well now.

Hi,

In my case BPC version 10 works fine with IE11 without any issue. Moreover I found one SAP note regarding to compatibility of BPC v10 to IE 11 "1934026",

I'm running BPC 10.0 NW on Windows 8 64-bit, IE 11(latest 64 bit), Excel 2013 64-bit (SP14), Flash player 11, .NET 4 platform. However I am facing issue while working on multiple BPC reports or input templates. Excel keeps getting hanged. for this, I have to run End Task from task manager and open new excel book.
