NW 7.3 AS JAVA Export

Dear  Friends,

Need some input regarding the NW 7.3 AS JAVA export and import.

We are planning to migrate AS JAVA 7.3 system from AIX to LINUX.

My Query is while doing export SWPM will not ask any credentials, it will simple export the data (Correct me if i am wrong ?

While Importing which credential of Source system we have to provide in SWPM, to do import successful of source database ?

( In SWPM for 7.02 and 7.01 it ask for j2ee_admin/administrator but in 7.3 is there any additional credential we have to give while doing import by using SWPM.

Hi,

It may also ask you key phrase for Secure Store during export/import.

you also know administrator password.. so I do not think anything more.. but better keep schema user password also handy.

As Ashish told , it will asked key phrase of secure storage.

It will also let you know , how to find out the correct key phrase.

Hi,

Let me share my experience while doing the export and import in windows.

Export :

Prepare Phase:

Ask for Operating sysyme user <sidadm>

Then Keyphase password.

Db export

Ask for Operating sysyme user <sidadm>

Then Keyphase password.

Now DB import

Master password used for all the users.

Password for SAPADM

password of SAPSIDdb

Password keyphase.

password of webadm.

password of daaadm
