How to ignore Last Line Record in File content Conversion.

Hi Experts,

Can some one tell us how we can ignore last line record in the input file. we are getting trail records in last line which is not require in SAP ECC.

Hi,

although best option would be to change the structure and not map the trailer record, but if you are doing FCC in target side, there is a workaround. Take a look at my document and use the hint to ignore those values.

I dont think there is a way to ignore last line as such.. though we have some parameter to ignore first few records..

You can simply read them but do not map... Any constrains in doing that?

If you are having unique identifier for the body records, declare FCC parameters using key field value for body record; so that u can ignore trailer record.

Yes we handled through the mapping, but my question is ther any parameter for handling this in Content Conversion. we tried with couple of ignore parameter option but did not workout.
