Dear Friends,

The issue is related to SAP-REFX ( Lease in ) .

The below errors are getting while running RERAPP ( Simulation mode ).

Error in document: REACI SIMULATEREPP00000002 TDV500

Balancing field "Segment" in line item 001 not filled

ERROR description as below .

Error in document: REACI SIMULATEREPP00000002

Message no. RW609

Diagnosis

Errors occurred when checking or posting the document

Reference type = REACI

Reference key  = SIMULATEREPP00000002

Logical system = XXXXX

You can find the errors in the log.

System Response

The document cannot be posted.

Can any one help me to resolve it.

Hi N.S.,

Please check if a profit center is maintained at the Real Estate Object/ Contract. If profit center is assigned to the RE object, check out the assignment of a segment to the profit center that is used.

also can you advise me the path to verify the assignment of a segment to the profit centre.

Tcode: KE53 - Display Profit Center Master Data - Individual Processing. Under Basic Data you can view the segment assignment to profit center.

Thanks a lot for your advise.Segent is available for the profit centre. It seems to be error is ot related to segment.

Please check if Segment is set as mandatory at the following setting

Financial Accounting (New) -> General Ledger Accounting (New) -> Business Transactions -> Document Splitting -> Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger Accounting

If it is set as mandatory. Please remove the check and try executing the posting again.

Hi Mr. Rao,

According to the issue and screen shot, kindly follow the path

In Configuration go to

IMG > Financial Accounting(New)  > General Ledger Accounting(New)  > Business Transactions > Document Splitting  > Edit Constants for Nonassigned Processes.

Here we will assign Business Area/Profit Center/Segment depending on the Splitting done.

Assign Default Segment for the Controlling Area.

Maintaining default Segment will not do any postings on Default Segment assigned while doing Transactions.

Maintaining Default Segment will resolve your issue.

Thanks for details, But the issue was not with segment,  B cas we made some other config to pick the segment as default.

But i would like to have the clue to resolve the below error for the same contarct.

as suggested please attach the error log. 

Error log contains the description of each line item of error, which will give us an idea of resolving your issue.

Tried with all the solutions posted here.

But still getting the below (Attached the screen shot) error. I am sure that this error is not related to segment.

Can any body thought me on other check points ( if any )  to solve this error.

Hi NS Rao,

Kindly check the errors in the log file and then please let me know what errors are you getting from the log file.

If you can resolve your errors which you will get in log, then you will be able to simulate and subsequently you can post.

Hi Mr. Rao,

Whenever you run RERAPP and since your contract contains error then automatically you will see the error log like the one attached in the screen shot :

If your contract is having more than one error, then you will find several line items of error and select one by one by double clicking on it and try to resolve errors if you are able to do so else attach screen shot of all the errors one by one if there exists more than one.

Also check in your Profit Center master that all the fields are updated properly, as its visible from your error description above.PC segment may not be filled which may throw error if its mandatory in your controlling organisation.

I have told ypu to kindly check the error log and attach the screen shot of error log only.Error log will give me idea about the issue.You have attached general error, which comprises error line item(s).

So kindly attach screen shot of error log with all the line items of error.
