Dear Experts,
We are having 5 scenarios(Proxy-><-Jdbc) in PI 7.0 between Ecc and Oracle.
All of the Interfaces are working fine in DEV.
PI lanscape (DEV,PRD) and ECC landscape (DEV,QA, PRD)
Now we are planning these interface to PRD.
we will use FILE transport.
My question is can i create Technical system(same name as dev) and Business System Manually in PI (prd) SLD?
Do i have to create PRODUCT Version and SWCV in SLD again as i am importing NAMESPACE.
Regards,
Anirban
Hi Anirban
Yes in the SLD you have to create the technical and business system manually.
Also you need to do the target mapping form DEV to PRD.
Product and SWCV should be there already in PRD sld. Please check before you create them.

Hi Anirban
You have to create your transport from development system right. In the development system your business systems are as DEV but in production you want it as PRD.
So you have to do the mapping in SLD.
Click on the DEV business system, then click on Transport tab, then add a target as PRD system.
So after doing this, when you import the obejcts from DEV to production, the business system will automaticaly come as PRD.
Hope this is clear.
For the product and SWCV, if its not there in production SLD, then u might have to create this.
Hi Anirban
You need to create the technical system for production first. Then you need to create the integration server for for production which will point to the technical system.
Then you need to create the group. Name you can give any name , integration server will be the one that you have created for production.
Check the dev system configuration, you will get the idea.
HI,
You should not create like that, but it's possible. You have to map the dev and prd system in PI dev SLD and move the same you have to transport to PI PRD system. All software component and and technical system and system group you have to transport it to PI PRD.
