My Web Serivce is returning empty table after Submitting data to SAP - the call to SAP happens successfully and data is filled back into the RETURN messages - but the data does not show up on the form.

In the above thread Simi seems to have gotten the solution but the solution was not listed ..

Additionally - any authorizations that I need to have?
Can you please let me know what I am missing?
I was dragging and dropping the RETURN table from the Request - once I dragged and dropped the RETURN table from RESPOnSE it worked fine..

I unmarked this as not answered - just to get some inputs on the behavior of the drilldowns
For a Drilldowns or for webservice calls via the SUBMIT button, I observed that check boxes and individual fields with length less than 100 are not being sent to SAP.
if you have a check box and a ranges tab as Import parameters in your BAPI and have a table in TABLES parameter - then nothing gets sent back - in SRT_UTIL transaction code, you can see that it says APPLICATION_DATA empty.
If you add the RETURN into the EXPORT parameters then it works.
if you have a check box and a table types in import parameters then the TABLES parameters do get returned, even though checkbox still does not get sent - it does not appear in the payload that you can see at transaction code SRT_UTIL.
For Checkboxes and individual fields to work - they have to be declared as strings I think - I will update this with more info based on my findings.
