UoM in planning book

Hi,

I need the key figure in the data view represent UoM always from product location table. How to ensure that?

The possible solution which you all may suggest that right click on the data view and set the UoM but this is temporary solution. Once you come out of the planning book then you setting is lost.

I need permanent solution where in the KFs always take the UoM from product location table.

Hi!

Have you explored the below option in Planning book design mode?

It is available on the Key figure attribute tab.

Or

You can go to transaction /n/sapapo/msdp_admin

Right click on PA name then click on details. Go to Keyfigure tab and again click on details.

Scroll to right. There is a check box for UOM. If you select this then UoM will always be defaulted fron Product location master. This will be applicable for all Planning books and data views using the PA.

Hi,

Thank you for your help. The first option is for aux. KFs or the KFs which you treat in different way like change of description.

The second option looks promising to me.
