Read an attachment through Sender File Adapter without any Main Document in the payload

Hi,

We have a requirement to read a File as an Attachment through the Sender Adapter without any main Documents in the Payload. Is this possible?

I have tried not uploading any Main File and just uploaded the Attachment Files. But the File did not pick up the attachments as well.

The File is picking up the attachment Files only when there is a Main File in source Directory.

Please suggest if we can Read only the attachments without any Main Document Files.

Hi Soundarya,

can you explain your scenario what you want to do after picking the file as attachment,

you can pick the file as attachment with dummy payload and can ignore in mapping.

Hi,

The Sender system cannot send a file with dummy payload.We would require the sender system to send only one file and that should be picked as an attachment in PI.

Hi Soundarya,

You can read main payload in mapping/adapter module and create an attachment with same content of main payload and then use it further according your requirement.
