Logon failed for easy DMS

Dear DMS,

Implemented SAP DMS with contentserver and Planed to upload bulk files with folder into DMS server.so am  switched into easydms .

Installed SAP easy document management 7.1.4.5 (Unicode) on my desktop . After provided my sap logon details terminates with error as below and able to login into sap gui 730 with the  same.

Logon failed (RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION)!

Dear Khaja,

Thanks alot for your inputs.

Issue resolved by giving AS host and sysnr.   This details i given initial screen but delivered error and After that choose edit -->  again craete new --> choose  ASHost and SYSNR from popup.

Dear Chandu,

  Have you maintained SAP server details on your system's hostfile that has Easy DMS? If no, pls add IP and hostname of both SAP server and content server.

Dear Hassan Khaja,

We are maitaing hostfile for everyserver. On easy DMS logon pad provided my sap system details like jostname, SID and system number.

Dear Chandu,

  There seems to be a problem with your hostname. Try using full string of your hostname in the Easy DMS config.
