Hi guys!
Need your help
I configured alert using this manual http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/00e97ba2-85ce-2b10-20bc-bc05cd172...
I do not receive any alerts, but when I test the alert category using the report RSALERTTEST, an alert is delivered.
Do you have any idea about the causes of this issue?
Regards,
Rinaz
Hi Rinaz,
instead of * , give some sender component and receiver component names and check.
let us know the result.

Hi,
can you try RSALERTPROC report in se38 and confirm the alerts?http://sapnwnewbie.blogspot.in/2011/03/alrtproc-transaction-to-process-xi.html
then try to restart the failed message.

Muniyappan.
Hi Rinaz,
Execute the report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER as Indrajit suggested.
Check the Alert inbox (RWB --> Alert inbox) for any alerts received.
Check the below blogs for trouble shooting.

Hi Rinaz
This is really strange. Everything looks good. Change your alert rule by providing sender component, namespace, interface .
Choose the option integration Engine and put error category as *.
Save the rule and then click on the update table option below
Then made a test with failed message in moni. Immediately execute report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER .It should display the log whether successful or error message
Hi Rinaz,
screen shots crearly state that alerst are not yet confirmed.
because you have checked the option "Suppress Multiple Alerts of this Rule" in alert rule.
go to runtime workbench and uncheck the option.
run the report RSALRTPROC to confirm the alerts.
now try to restart the failed messages.

Muniyappan.
Hi Rinaz
Looks like you are very close to the solution.
In the Alert Inbox check whether you have confirmed the Alerts which are already generated.
If supress alerts check box is check for alert rules , if the previous alert is not confirmed the next alert wont be triggered.
Check the Report RSALERTPROC and delete the Old alerts. Then made a test. This time it should work.

Hi Rinaz
Check the rules you have created in RWB. There is a option for Active. Make sure that you have checked that.
Also make sure that the failed message satisfies the condtions you have specified in the rule.
You can also execute report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER in SE38 to check if there is any errors or not.
