Client has replenishment scenario as below:
Based on Demand, creates STO in production plant to replenish stock .
Client has its own feeder vessel line (10) and owned containers ( about 1000 Containers).
Based on STO client do transportation planning and then calculate require containers.
Then they check availability of empty conainers in Container yard.
Container yard maintains list of empty, filled, damaged, under maintainence containers
Create replenish delivery.
then they pack material in container (Full Container Load) and update status of container as' Filled' in container yard.
Loading of container on feeder vessel.
At the time of shipment completion they do PGI
Shipment Start triggers different legal outputs. It also trigger transshipment status in shipment
Average voyage time is about 12 hours to reach other plant
once feeder vessels reach to another plant Port they do shipment end update via Idoc
After then they return empty container back to production plant and update container yard.
I need your help to findout suitable solution in TMS?
Can TMS be use to manage container yard?
What if I use TMS for planning only keeping execution part same as in LETRA?
What if I use TMS for planning and execution both?
How can I track different shipment status like Loading start, loading end, shipment start etc without using EM. Do TMS will support message coming from third party like INTTRA or JADE?
