SAP GUI 7.3 Patch 5

We are on SAP GUI 7.3 Patch 0 and trying apply patch 5, getting the below message. Do we need apply older patches before to apply the patch 5? Please advice.

Better you can uninstall the SAPGUI exiting version and reinstall the SAPGUI 7.30 with Latest patch.

Quick answer, no, you should be able to install any patch from patch 0.

You may be missing some pre-requsites for the patch installation.

What are the list of components installed on patch 0 ?

Use the latest compilation to install it. I think it should work.
