Message not visible in message monitoring, sender Idoc AAE HA system

Dear Experts,

I have transported my objects to the PI production environment which is a high availability server. The sender Idoc channel is in green and strangely the channel shows successful processing for an Idoc. However, I do not see any corresponding messages in the message monitoring. There is no record of that message anywhere and no error logs on the default trace. Any pointers as to where this could be stuck?

Regards

Varun

Hi Varun

To see synchronous payload activate next java property

NWA -> Configuration -> Infrastructure -> Java System Properties -> Services -> XPI Service: Messaging System, set property messaging.SyncMessageRemover.removeBody = false

Hi Javier,

Idocs are never synchronous. Always asynchronous.

Also, message logging and staging is something different.

@ Varun: you transported objects. perhaps do a cache refresh to make sure the communication channel is properly in there. Also, try to re-activate.

Kind regards,

Dimitri

Hi Dimitri

I only suggest to check the monitoring configuration.

@Varun: Have you checked your user roles?

Hi Dimitri,

I did try a cache refresh.. Weirdly the channel shows green and is accepting the message as well.

Hi Varun,

Are you sure idocs were processed? Do you see them in transaction BD87 within your sender system?

Typically, a sender idoc communication channel shows green if the connection factory and RFC is available and correct.

Kind regards,

Dimitri
