Fiori Extension - Duplicate Application

Hi All,

Good day!

We want to extend an existing Fiori application, but retain the original standard Fiori Application instance as well.

We want our launch pad to have similar tiles like the items below:

• Leave Approval (Standard Fiori App)
• Leave Approval II (Extended Version)

What are additional steps we need to do other than upload the newly created application? do we need to add custom roles? additional OData services?

Hi Ginwene,

You can upload your extended app with new name. http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-46261

After that 2 steps are required.

1. Create a tile in the launchpage admin

2. Create a role with menu object and asign to users
