sap PI 7.4 Communication Channel Monitor

hello everybody,

I'm new with PI 7.4.

I made a interface jdbc to sap.

So after starting the communication channel I don't see any messages arrived in PI.

I tried to search the problem in Communication Channel monitor but i see it's very different and more complicated than old versione.

So, in this monitor i see that the channel read the table (as you see in image), but if i try to select the Message Id i cannot see any messages. I obtain a popup page on same monitor.

I'm curious to see the payload but seem is not possible.

Does anybody have experience with this monitor? or documentation?

Can i check the payload of messages in CC? with old versions was possible and very helpfull

Thanks for suggestion

Hi Alex,

Can you check Receiver communication channel?  you´ll see if the message was processed by PI and if the message was sent to receiver system (in this case, SAP)

I recommend check Message Log, you can se if the message was sent to SAP.

Also you can see Monitor channel "old versión" at http://host:port/mdt/channelmonitorservlet at least in SAP PI 7.31

Hi Alex

In your screenshot the comm channel is inactive.

you can check the payload in PIMON. click on the message id, it open the new window. then you have option of open payload to check the payload.

Harish

Hi,

In the communication channel screenshot you have provided, the message ID's are same at the timings 17:06 and 17:01.

Please retest the same, by placing some data in the database and give a try.

I hope no data has been processed from the database earlier.

Regards,

Veerendra.

Hi Alex,

In pimon you can view the message came to adapter before processing in adapter (Inbound) and message out of adapter after processing (outbound).

In your case it seems the message is not availble.

you can check via RWB, you can go to RWB as - htt://<host>:<port>/rwb

Harish
