External Control of channels in SAP PI (Cookies problem)

Hi All,

We are trying to control the communication channels externally through
http request from the channel.The problem is the channels are getting
stopped and started for the first time .From the next time the cookies
are remaining in the request due to which next time when we are trying
to make the request the channel is not getting started from stop mode

with my experience, that's probably not because of cookies.

At any time, when you want to start a CC, you have to do a Stop before. So to do a Stop, then a Start.

Have a look on CC monitoring... if your CC is on "manual" or "automatic" mode, and if your CC is already started... well... you cannot click on "start" button !!, you have to click on "Stop" button before to be able to click again on "Start". My conlusion (several years ago) was that's certainly same behaviour when we trigger externally a CC.

"Stop + Start", that's the minimum.
