When trying to install SAP GUI 7.30 using this command \Setup\NwSapSetup.exe /Package="SAPGUI730" the SAP Front-end installer gives me this error: "This package cannot be installed as it contains components with failing prerequisists"
However I cannot figure out whats missing.
I have been looking at the log file here: C:\Program Files\SAP\SapSetup\LOGs. And it gives a Return-Code: 67
I have added the complete log file, please help
I think your java runtime is missing
Your ISH-MED component requires Java

Hello Soren, Rosario,
Just found this thread because I had the same problem and was looking for answer. In the very unlikely situation that you haven't got help from anywhere, this was what fixed mine: download .net framework 4 and retry installation. Good luck.

Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Center

Good morning some of my students are getting the following error:
KW HTML Editor:
Knowledge Warehouse HTML Editor:No compatible version of Microsoft.Net Framework 4 found.
I am trying to find a list of Fron-End Installer prerequisites and cannot find it, besides how can I access to your sapnotes? These ask for a password.
I am a professor and Sap University Alliance member, these credentials are not working.
Thanks.
Hello Rosario,
On the affected workstations, you can navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SapSetup\Setup\
and double-click on nwsapsetup.exe.
This will give you a list of preinstalled components.
Do not click install or else you could remove the components.
This error does not seem like a SapGui issue though, I would recommend the IT personnel update the .NET repositories from Microsoft.
