Dear All,
We would like to install SAP in Power HA Cluster environment with "Active-Passive" Set up with Node 1 & Node 2.
I am aware of "Active-Active" setup as per below.
Node A : DB + ERS(10)
Node B : ASCS(01) + CI(00) + ERS
Can anyone suggest/correct below set up is correct?
Node A : ASCS (09) + DB (installation in cluster group)+CI (00) (Local Installation)
Node B : DIALOG (00) (Local Installation)
Suggestions are appreciated.
Thank You
ksk
Hi Roman,
OS : AIX
DB : Oracle
We are planning to setup "Active-Passive" setup without ERS ( can this be possible).
As per above details when Node A fails, ASCS and DB which are installed over cluster group would failover to Node B and we would be having ASCS, DB and DI ( will behave as CI)
I couldnt able to get your suggestion clearly, can you please explain,
Regards

Put each application (ASCS, DB, CI and optionally ERS) in its own resource group and after that you can change initial placement on that you want.
Can anyone suggest/correct below set up is correct?
Node A : ASCS (09) + DB (installation in cluster group)+CI (00) (Local Installation)
Node B : DIALOG (00) (Local Installation)
Where your ERS instance(s)?
Initial placement depends on workload profile of your system. But again in properly configured system you can change initial placement.
