MDS has a newer build than MDIS and MDSS

Hi Team,

I'm upgrading the MDM system from SP08 to SP10.

In one of sapinst option it is showing me the build numbers for MDS / MDIS & MDSS. They are different whereas in SP08 they were same for all three.

I have downloaded the latest Support Pack files for MDM from SAP Market Place for NW 7.0 & these numbers are corresponding to this version.

Is there any issue if the build numbers are different?

Please revert so that I can go ahead with the upgrade.

Hi Avinash,

They are fine so. Only SP numbers have to match. In your case they are 10. Patch numbers can be different. About MDM Versioning info you can read in the Note 1345858

In SMP not every time every MDM Components are on the same Patch. Just like in your case but as only Patch Numbers are different, You can go on with the Installation.
