ECC to BO Connection Using IDT

Dear All,

I am a ABAP developer and done some reports in BI also. Currently I am learning SAP BO. I have developed some reports in BO using BEx Query. Now I want to connect ECC to BO to access ECC tables and create report using that. Using a document i started creating it, but in Information Design Tool Database Middleware Driver Selection part i could not see SAP ECC under SAP.

Please suggest steps to get it and some documents related to this.

Dear Ravi,

As per the above link only i started to create the connection in IDT at the beginning, but am not able to see SAP ERP under SAP, thats why i have given screen shot also.

Hello Rithika,

have you installed the corresponding drivers?

You can check this when you go to your client tools base installation and hit modify, there you will see under "Database Access and Security" the installed drivers, make sure that you got the SAP ERP drivers checked there:

PS: Out of topic, but just in case you are planning to update fo BI4.1, check the PAM first, seems that you are on XP...

Thank you Victor,  I have ticked the SAP ERP checkbox and installed. Now i got SAP ERP under SAP.
