Hi,
I am SAP-PP certified consultant with 3 yrs in SAP-PP.
I am now planning to do SAP-APO individually and start learning on my own.
How is the content of APO? tough else easy to understand.
Can I learn it on my own independently?
Can i install the APO component on my laptop(is it feasible) and start practising ?
However my present company doesn't have APO. So can i look out for a new job once i am done with the APO course?
pls guide on this.
Hi Nandi,
With your PP experience you would already know that theoretical learning is only half a part. It is important to have hands on experience too. If you go by phased approach then it is not impossible to learn APO.
For phased approach, target one module at a time and try to correlate the dependency of this module with ECC.
I have not done it myself but I have known few consultants who have installed stand alone APO instance on their personal laptops. I don't know how they did it.
Access to APO sandbox would be really helpful to you.
Regards,
Ravi

Hi nandi,
You can learn on your own, but here you would be needing little guidance from somebody who knows about it.
I don't think APO instance would be available in market for you to install on your machine and practice, for this you should target to get required authorization of your present company's system only.
If your present company doesn't have APO and you are so keen to learn this, only way to make this happen is look for some other job and get access to APO sandbox
