ERH6 EHP7 - Performance

Hello,

Beginning 2014 we patch from ERP6 EHP4 to ERP6 EHP7. Our system has a high CPU workload at the moment.

Are there some experiences with performance ERP6 EHP7?

SAP has maintained SAP Notes to document additional hardware requirements up to ERP 6.0 EHP6 - for EHP7 I could not find an SAP Note. However, the values for EHP5 and EHP6 may give you an idea:

If you are having a performance issue you might want to have a look at your system When is the last time you did performance tuning at the OS level? How much DASD do you have and what percentage is your system running at when you do a wrksyssts? Sometimes these are things that can be easily overlooked but add much value in the long run.
