ITSM - Created incidents saved with no data filled in the Web UI

Hi All

I would greatly appreciate some help with the following. In SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP8 when you create an incident via the ITSM Web UI and do not populate the predifined mandatory fields the incidents is still saved.

How do I stop this? The incidents must only be saved when all warnings and errors are met before they can be saved.

check the below note

Set parameter NO_SAVE_MAND_FIELDS : X in table SMOFPARSFA

Hi

Thank you for the information. That has resolved the issue of forcing the mandatory fields to be filled in.

One last question, can this be done for warnings as well? We have implemented Time Recording but you cannot set Time Recording as a mandatory field in the Web UI.

From within the configuration of Time Recording, you can only set reminders.
