SC line item deletion post SRM PO creation

Dear Friends.

We have an issue with the following scneario.

SRM System : SRM 7.01 Extended classic scenario.

1) Requester(role is only of requester type) creates the SC with a single line item.

2) SC is approved and an SRM PO created and sent to vendor.

3) Requester opens the SC, deletes the single line item and saves the SC.

4) Eventually the PO is also marked for deletion.

Here the GR has not yet been done for this PO. Since the GR is not yet done, this is fine.

But SAP should provide an error message to the requester to not delete the line item as the PO has been created.

So.. if anyone has encountered this situation  with the above mentioned condidtions could  pls share their expert views..

Meanwhile .. i am on lookout for an possible OSS notes that could fix this issue.

process you describe is the standard one.

So, you will have to manage your own business rule using SC BAdI check.
