Collect idocs between certain time interval

Hi ,

Can anyone guide me how to collect idocs between certain time interval (I need to collect them and transfer it to PI)

Hi Dan

In SAP ECC, the partner profile should be created for collecting IDocs via we20.

• Put the suitable Message Code and Message Function.
• Put the number as the “Pack. Size” based on the requirement.
• Select “Collect IDocs” as the Output Mode.

By doing this, when one IDoc is generated, it will be in status “IDoc in Processing” and not sent to PI directly,it means the IDoc is collected in SAP ECC.

i assume this is not possible without BPM (for collecting IDOCs during certain time interval).

Thanks for the reply, now it is kind of clear

but, if I want to collect all the IDOCS from 9 AM - 6 PM,

is it mandatory to use BPM, not possible to schedule in ECC?

Hi Dan,

When you want to collect all IDocs produced within an hour, you have to schedule the report RSEOUT00 every hour.

If you have more complex criteria and small numbers of IDocs you better use BPM.

HI Dan,

you have 2 way of solutions for this.

1. BPM

2. Check with ABAP Team they will customize the IDOC and ABAP team will schedule the IDOC betwen the required intervals with background jobs
