Hi All,
Would like to get some advice on the correct procedure/steps to delete a client. I know that I have to switch off the archive mode during the deletion. Besides that anymore tips/advice?
Thanks!
Hi Hemanth,
Thanks for your useful guidelines, I shall schedule an offline backup and perform the steps over the weekend. 😃

Hi Jasmine,
Here is the detailed step - by - step process for client deletion.
1. Log on to the client you wish to delete
2. Enter transaction SCC5, the client field will already be populated
3. Make sure the test run and delete entry from T000 are unchecked
4. Select the Parameters for Parallel Processes button on the toolbar. Enter the following details and Save the options;
a. Maximum number of work processes = 2-4, these are the number of dialogs that will be used by the delete process. If the system on which you are deleting a client does not have a large number of dialog processes, select 2, otherwise select 4.
b. Logon/Server Group = client_copy
5. Select the Background button on the toolbar, or goto Client Copy from the menu and select Schedule as Background Job.
6. On the next screen select the Schedule Job button.
7. When the spool request dialog appears select a printer
8. Select the Immediate option when scheduling the job and then select the save button.
9. The job should now be running and can now be monitored in SCC3
For further details please mail me.
