Update Hana to Rev.69 on multiple nodes

Experts:

We have an SAP Hana system at SPS06.

We plan to update it to rev69.

However our hana has 6 nodes. We are not sure any particular steps to be followed.

Guide and blogs are highly appreciated.

Hello,

You need HANA lifecycle manager to update your system. You can access HLM via HANA studio. Please refer to SAP note 1864196 and 1836498. Please also go through below guide:

We already reviewed those notes.

However, what we need to know is if there are special steps for hana on multiple nodes -- in our case we have total 6 nodes.

Please help more.

Hello,

I am not sure if you have read the guide that I shared earlier. In step 3.3, it is described what additional things that you need to take care in case of a distributed environment.

When you will run HLM (HLM is only installed on primary node) in HANA studio then it will take care of all nodes but you need to make sure that all the conditions specified in the guide should be met.
