Hi,
I want to perform local client copy with sap_SAP_UCSV say from 100 to 110 in QAS(client 100 having 2.5TB). when i check at os level all sap data filesystems are having enough space.
My query is
1) Need to add 2TB space for the new client at os level or the available space is enough for the new clinet
2) please confirm if i need to add 9gb to PSSAPP01 TS and 11GB for PSSAPP01USR TS.

Hi,
Follow the below steps...
Pre-requisites
To perform a local client copy we must first create a new logical system and
Create a new client
Procedure
Creating a logical system

system(refer screenshot below)
Then enter the change mode
Click on >>new entries
Give the name with the following naming convention
<SID>CLNT<CLIENTNO>
And save
Once the logical system is created.
We need to create a new client.
Creation of new client
To create a new client
Go to t-code SCC4
Click on edit, the following screen appears

Then Click on>> new entries (appears on top left of

And give the desired values as shown in the figure below.
Enter the logical system which was created earlier. You can
select it from the dropdown list also.
Click on save.
Thus a new client is created.
We can now proceed with the local client copy

To perform the local client copy, first we need to login into the target client( i,e newly created client)
logging in to the new client :-
you may use the following credentials to login into the newly created client.

if you are unsuccessful,

Enter transaction SCCL
The following screen appears
CAREFULLY READ THE OPTIONS AND
Enter the option depending on the requirement
Execute
Continue by pressing schedule job

Hi,
As mentioned that the
1) Need to add 2TB space for the new client at os level or the available space is enough for the new clinet
2) please confirm if i need to add 9gb to PSSAPP01 TS and 11GB for PSSAPP01USR TS.
1, U are coping Customizing, User Master Records and User Variants which is only faction of the client size and as per check it looks the size would be close to 25 to 30 gb. So no need to add 2TB space.
2, No need to add data as you already have space.
Thanks

I would say you can go ahead with the client copy with the present space.

2) I think no more space is requiered. You have 372 free and need only 9. Similarly in the second row.
