Can't comment on blog post

Hi,

I am logged in and I cannot post comments on this blog post:

http://scn.sap.com/people/florin.wach/blog/2013/11/13/idioms-in-abap4-local-table-caching#

I've contacted the author and he says comments are enabled for his blog:

Extended Options: "Open (comments are allowed"

Why is this?

I tried logging out and logging in, reloading the page several times with no success.

I tried IE 10.0 and Chrome.

That's what I'm seeing:

Seems to be related to my profile.

Any ideas?

Maybe a SCN developer can have an eye on this?

does it only happen to this blog (which is posted in a personal space) or to any blog today?

I saw that you gave already comments to a blog and a document in September

you can try it with my blog

which is in MM space, and this blog in my personal space

but I couldn't comment on this blog (Add comment link invisible): http://scn.sap.com/blogs/juergenl/2013/09/08/dear-newbie--welcome-in-scn-mm-space

Any ideas?

I know why: this is because you are a new member and your account has a few limitations covered here:

Until you complete a few beginner missions (you're almost there!), most of your contributions will be moderated or blocked.  In this specific case, you cannot comment on personal blog posts but can on posts related to SCN topic and product spaces. (SCN topic and product space blog URL begin with scn.sap.com/community/...)

This might be a bug and I'll consult with IT on this.

BTW: Concerning the "beginner missions": Is it true that I have to create an own blog post to get rid of the "new member limitations" ?

No, you do not need to create a blog post (it's not a requirement). Just interact in other ways: respond to threads helpfully, comment, etc.

I suspect your web page might got hung when you try to leave a comment. Because, I am able to comment on it. I am also experiencing pages getting hung and force us to refresh the page. Lot of disruptions happen these days....
