Pricing type field usage in the Pricing Procedure determination

Dear All,

All of us aware, Pricing type field is available in the following three places.

1. Sales order - Item data - Conditions - Update

2. Copy control

3. Pricing procedure determination

In the Sales order level, I am able understand the usage. It is used for repricing if required.

In the Copy control also it is used redetermine the prices when we copy the pricing elements from one document to another.

But what is the need for maintaining it in the Pricing procedure determination.

Could you please explain?

Point number 2 ,Copy control works when you have determined Item Category so you redetermined the Price on  Item Cat .

Point 3. Pricing type :- Here you redetermine the Price on Pricing Procedure independent of Item Cat.

Where do we see Pricing Type in Pricing Procedure determination?

When I run T-Code OVKK, I see the following fields:

1. Sales Org

2. Dist Channel

3. Division

4. Document Pric Proc.

5. Customer Pric. Proc.

6. Pricing Procedure

7. Pricing Procedure Name

8. Condition Type

9. Condition Type name.
