Return Delivery for Quality Inspection Stock

Dear All

We need to return the stock to vendor although UD was done for the Inspection lot.

Steps Followed:

Step 1 - GRN done to Quality Inspection. Inspection Lot created.

Step 2 - UD done for the Inspection Stock with QA32 and stock moved to Unrestricted.

Now in case there is any error, we need to return the stock to vendor even though quality inspection was ok and stock has moved to Unrestricted stock type.

Kindly let us know the steps to be followed to return the stock from Unrestricted stock type.

Dear All

Resolved the issue in two steps:

1. Transfer posting from Unrestricted to Quality - Mvt Type 322. Inspection type 08 maintained in QM view of Material master so that Inspection lot is created.

2. Return Delivery created with respect to the Inspection lot created while transfer posting. T Code - QA32 and Mvt Type 122.

Please apply SAP note 175842 and create a transaction like ZQM_UDR.

Stock will be reversed.

hi Vikas,

Material stock is in Unrestricted area; in QM you can only create notification if you wish to.

You will also have to cancel Invoice (MIRO) for the same GR before creating Return delivery.

also check for any Excise entries.

Consult with your MM guy.
