Partner function determination in Shipment document

Hi

We are implementing the SAP Logistics Execution - Transportation process.

In shipment Document....Partner functions tab.  Forwarding agent is automatically getting determined. 

Now, we are having the requirement...Based on the forwarding agent, other agents like insurance, customs agent need to be determined in the shipment document partner tab.  Otherwise, user need to manually select the partner in the shipment document.

Since, daily so many shipment documents are getting created in SAP.  So, it will be very diffcult to enter manually in each shipment document.

Please help..how to configure this process.

Hi Friend,

  Kindly check that weather you had assigned Partner Function to the vendor or not.

  Also check the TMS Setting for the same and confirm.

Hi,

you can create seperate partner function Insurance agen and Assign the same in Set Up Partner Determination for Shipment

This will suffice your Requirement.

Did you attached the partner to Forwarding agent in the vendor master?

And same to be flowed in Shipment document.

Thank you for your reply,

I have attached the Insurance agent partner function in Vendor master.

But by default it is not getting updated in shipment document.  I need to manually selected partner function in Shipment document.
