Hi experts,
I am not so familiar with LMDB and SMSY.
All changes have to be done in LMDB, is it right?
At the moment I miss data about hosts in my LMDB (e.g. CPU-Type).
So what is the correct way to update the LMDB?
Can I do this manually in LMDB or is there an automatic mode which reads all the data from the system?
Thankyou
Hi,
I would suggest whther your saposcol is running in the managed systems.
As all the infromation will be picked up by the job
SAP_LMDB_LDB_<Namespace-Id>
, for example, SAP_LMDB_LDB_0000000001 and will send it to the sld and further to LMDB.
or else you can check in youe EWA reports whether all the information about the managed systems is populated or not

Himanshu

I've now checked the agents lock and found a lot of the following entries:
Cannot established a trusted connection to SAP host agent webservice.
(SAP Host agent version installed doesn't support trusted connection method)
<SAPHostAgentTrustedConnectionConfigurator.java:117:setupTrustedConnection()>
But I've maintained host_profile and I use also another agent with exactly the same version which is not having this problem.

Hi Christian,
Check with this LMDB FAQ'a,
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-31457 ...
"Manual system registration in the technical system editor is intended for cases where there is no data supplier, or where the data supplier cannot be used, for example due to a firewall. The biggest disadvantage of this manual method is that there is no way to automatically update the data, since data entered manually can become obsolete after a certain period."

Hi Chris,
Goto to http://hostname:port/sld - click on technical system -- select your system -- application server tab, it will have details about the host.

What can happen if I run this report?
May I loose some data in LMDB?
Isn't there functionality to just update the host-data from SLD?
And also one import note, in host-detail I see "Last Data-Supplier-Update" was today - However the data is not up to date.

If yes You will probably have to update CR and CL content
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-41516
If you want to add info about your systems run LMDB tcode.
