Afaria License Types

I would like to know the different license types for Afaria production use.

Does any of the license come with a Database?

If not then we have SMP that comes with a Database, Can we use that for Afaria?

We already have a license for AFARIA

We are only concerned about the Afaria Database

i am not sure but i believe afaria license is not with database, you can still confirm with your internal procurement team

We would like to think so too as the Afaria version we have did not have any database server with it.

Now my question is

Can we use SMP (Which is a separate product we purchased), database with Afaria

SMP comes with multiple box license, what if we install SMP on Machine 1 and SMP data tier only on Machine 2 and not use it for SMP and use it for Afaria  ?

HI Saeed,

Afaria is a different product, and SMP is a different product of SAP.

If u need to work on Afaria, u have to buy the license for SAP.
