Hello Gurus,
I am familiar with OOPS concept in ABAP and want to start learning Webdynpro for ABAP. I want to know if the books NET310, NET311, NET312 and NET313 are enough to learn this(Theory+Coding). If not can you please suggest a good book? Also, any idea how long it'll take to be confident in the technology? Looking forward to your valuable inputs.
Thanks,
Sarif
Hello,
If you are aware of concept and syntax for ABAP then learning of WDP(web dynpro) won't take more then 30 - 50 Hours. And these books are enough to learn WDP, or there are no. of good sites and document available on SCN/Google already.

Hi,
I agree with the previous posts. I would add that learning just few notions of web programing would be a nice thing if you're not familiar with this particular kind of design pattern.
Learning for example what a session or a request is is essential for avoiding a lot of mistakes when you're new to web development.
Anyway I hope you'll have fun with web dynpro!

Hi,
Those books are enough to be master in webdynpro. Besides that please go through scn Blogs and articles on webdynpro. If you are good at OOPs I hope it won't take more than month.
All The best.
Regards,
Sreenivas.
