stock in quality inspection (X, 2)

Dear all:

Possible stocks are:

unrestricted-use stock (blank, F)

stock in quality inspection (X, 2)

blocked stock (S, 3)

stock in quality inspection (X, 2)，I want to know the difference of X and 2.

Hi,

I am not sure about this, but my take on this is it was only three -- BLANK, 2, 3. But later SAP came up with F, X and S which mean the same thing. But SAP didn't do away with BLANK, 2 and 3 as it wanted to get people familiar with all the identifiers and also because the old systems will still have the old identifiers in the tables.
