LIPS-INSMK - Stock type

Hi Guys

Can some one expalin to me what for the field LIPS-INSMk (Stock type which is the item --> Admin tab)is used for?

Is there a way to default a value in this field so that I can issue QI stock or Blocked stock for my delivery? This delivery is not a customer delivery it is a plant to plant stock transfer.

I tried to use the user exit - MV50AFZ1 and whatever value I keyin in this field (S, X, 2) it is getting wiped off when the delivery is saved and a blank is inserted into this field in the delivery!!

Help is appreciated.

thank you for answer.   I  have changed the stock type from Quality inspection to unrestricted-use by the Bapi BAPI_INB_DELIVERY_CHANGE. So I can issue the QI Stock now.

Try to post 321 mvnt in MB1B,

321 is quality inspection to unrestricted-use ，but I wish issue QI stock , so I can't use 321 mvnt

Then you need to use 322 mvnt. for issue to QI from Unr.
